Many of you asked for paper tearing on the beach, so here you go! I recorded this right after a storm had passed, and so the background has plenty of fast-moving clouds that make for a texture rich sunset.
Most of what I was tearing was index cards because they don’t flop around in the wind, and so have no extra noise associated with them. I did try some thick drawing paper in the middle of the session, but I decided to go back to the index cards soon after.
The soft ramble kicks in more towards the end of the video, where I talk about things like the process and conditions for recording on the beach and a side story about what these index cards were originally purchased for, which was a time management system that I still use parts of today (but on my phone).
This one took a good bit of editing because of all of the aircraft flying around, but I’m pleased to be able to release it finally. Hope you enjoy!
Stay chill, y’all. 🙂
